I have created many artworks using Adobe Photoshop and Indesign but I've always been really hesitant in using Illustrator to produce a full artwork and have thus kept my uses to the bare minimum.
However, this course has been very helpful in removing most of that fear in using Illustrator and worse yet the pen tool. While I am certainly not a master at illustrating, I can now confidently experiment as an amateur illustrator and the best part is I’m having tons of fun while doing so.
I am definitely more knowledgeable on the advantages and uses of Adobe Illustrator as oppose to other design software and I've learnt the uses of tools I wouldn't have considered using before. I will never look at an illustration or even raster images again without thinking about the possible steps in creating it. But in addition to the many tips and tricks, if there is one other thing that really resonates with me, it’s that logos are best created as vectors.
