MDIA 1002 Mona: Who is my favorite Illustrator and why?: There are so many digital Illustrators with amazing talent that it’s really hard to isolate just one as my favorite. But if I absolutely must...I would choose Christopher Lee. He is an inspiration for anyone who has had a passion for art from a young age such as myself. Lee grew up in Sacramento. He moved to California where he produced a few Vinyl toys, worked for a few magazines but ultimately he decided to give up his job at Buck (a motion graphic studio) so that he can concentrate solely on illustration. Lee is my favorite illustrator because he never thought of artistry like most people who believe it would get you no where. He knew where he wanted to be and he got there step by step, that along with his amazing illustrations and art work makes him an icon in my books.
